Social Work Corner by Michael Roche

 The parent support meeting and sign class is on Thursdays. It starts at 8:50 A.M.

It is followed by a brief meeting with me, the school social worker, then ESL,

English as a second language class about 10:15 or 10:25.

 CPS, Children and Family Benefits offers a lot of information and support for

Families. They can help apply for food stamps, medical assistance, and health care assistance in a number of programs. If your child qualifies for free or reduced lunch make sure to contact them to see how they can help. They are very professional, helpful and efficient! Call them at 773 553-5437

 If your child has a serious health condition, please make sure his or her teacher and the school nurse know about it.
